Which coffee you should buy isn’t as important as whether what you’re purchasing is fresh roasted. Coffee is at it’s peak flavor within days of roasting, while many bags of coffee can sit on store shelves in Starbucks and Amazon for weeks or months before they arrive at your doorstep.
A great cup of fresh roasted coffee will always be better than the best (and often priciest) old, stale blends.
Whole bean or Ground?
Ground coffee should be chosen for convenience-and only if will be consumed within 1 to 14 days to insure optimal flavor. For those seeking long-lasting quality and freshness, I recommend ordering whole bean coffee and grind yourself before brewing it.
